Meet at exit 3-1 of Jonggak Station on Line 1. There is a Starbucks inside the building there.

Back in February 2013, a fire destroyed buildings in a small corner of what we call Insadong area. Shortly after that, the whole area was rezoned to allow more redevelopment. People freaked out, not quite realising that the Insadong they know was not threatened, and it was the surrounding older area that was being displaced. The fire site barely got noticed, as it was hidden among labyrinthine alleys.

Then in 2014, a much larger area next to the fire site showed signs of eviction. By then, absolutely nobody cared that a large corner of the area we call Insadong was being redeveloped.
