RAS Korea’s Annual Holiday Book Sale and Open House

DATE: Saturday, November 12, 2022, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VENUE: 1st Floor Conference Room at Korea Christian Building

This year’s book sale has two special features. First, we will have a Foreign Affairs Extravaganza. A loyal RAS member has donated a large collection of foreign affairs-related books and journals. Many books are in Korean, many are in English. Some are memoirs of ambassadors, some are scholarly analyses of the peninsula and global politics.

Second, we are hosting a Peter E. Bartholomew Memorial Book Sale. When our late president died last year, RAS Korea was grateful to receive his entire collection of Korea and Asia related books. Our librarian, Prof. Welles, has carefully curated the collection and discovered a good collection of duplicate books. We will be offering our members and friends the opportunity to buy some of Peter’s personal collection and make a contribution in his name to RAS Korea at the same time.

As always, we will have many library duplicates and other books at deeply discounted prices–Just in time for your holiday giving needs. (And we think it’s a good idea to give to yourself, too!).

Join us during the day, but come early for the best selection.

We will have light snacks and beverages available for all.
